As an IT executive at Progressive, my role included responsibilities held outside of IT at most carriers. For 14 years, I was a member of the senior leadership team and helped build the strategic plans for product, marketing, sales, and policy service for the Personal Lines and Commercial Lines divisions. As the leader of a large organization, I am well versed in management practices, talent development, HR processes and organizational development. Finally, as a strategist and technologist, I led Progressive’s agent systems from DOS to Windows to the Internet and created a platform resulting in a sustainable ease-of-use competitive advantage, and partnerships with software vendors and associations.

I have extensive large group facilitation experience in planning, team building, skill building and business simulations. I am an accomplished speaker and presenter with 100+ appearances to audiences ranging from 10 to 3000. I have 200+ hours of classroom instruction on organizational development concepts such as teamwork, continual learning, feedback and coaching, with more than 800 students benefitting from this instruction.
